An unplanned pregnancy often brings practical concerns into focus very quickly. You may be wondering how you’ll manage daily responsibilities, afford baby supplies, or build stability for the future.
At Greater Hope Care Center, we offer free, confidential education and material aid designed to support you in practical, meaningful ways, both now and in the long term.
Our approach combines learning, encouragement, and support so you don’t feel like you’re navigating this alone.
Education That Supports Everyday Life
You can participate in a variety of educational classes that address real-life needs. Topics include parenting, health, budgeting, financial literacy, general cooking, and more. We also offer life-skills classes designed to build confidence and help you feel more prepared for everyday responsibilities.
Classes are flexible and respectful of your schedule, and questions are always welcome. Whether you are preparing for a baby or simply looking to strengthen life skills, education can be a powerful tool.
Baby Supplies and Practical Support
As you participate in classes, you can receive material aid such as diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and other necessities. These items can help you feel prepared and equipped to welcome your little one. During our classes, you’ll learn newborn care essentials, including safe sleep, diaper changing, bathing, and more.
This support helps relieve any financial pressure you face while helping you build life-long skills.
Community Referrals and Continued Support
Our team also connects clients with trusted community resources for healthcare, housing assistance, childcare, counseling, job training, and programs like WIC. Navigating these systems can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to help guide you.
Education and support aren’t meant to be one-time services. We’ll continue walking alongside you and provide support as your needs change.
Abortion Pill Reversal Information
If you have taken the first abortion pill (mifepristone) and are having second thoughts, abortion pill reversal (APR) may be an option. APR is a protocol that uses progesterone to counteract the effects of mifepristone when started as soon as possible after taking the first pill.
Greater Hope Care Center provides confidential information and referrals for abortion pill reversal. Timing is crucial; it’s recommended to begin this protocol as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of taking mifepristone, though it can also be successful up to 72 hours after. However, even if it’s been longer than 72 hours, there’s always a chance that the abortion drugs did not work.
The Abortion Pill Rescue Network provides 24/7 support and can connect you to a provider who offers APR. If you’ve taken mifepristone and regret your decision, you may be able to continue your pregnancy. Contact them immediately at 1-877-558-0333.
