Parenting after an unplanned pregnancy may or may not be an option you’ve explored yet, especially when you’re trying to picture what day-to-day life might look like. You may be thinking about finances, relationships, housing, school, work, or how prepared you feel emotionally.
For many people, parenting brings a lot of uncertainty, but it can also make you feel hopeful about what this option might look like. At Greater Hope Care Center, our team offers a free and confidential space where you can discuss parenting and receive support as needed.
Every situation is different, and there is no single path that works for everyone. Our advocates take time to understand your goals, concerns, and support system so conversations are meaningful and relevant to your life.
Questions Worth Exploring
As you consider parenting, it can help to talk through questions such as:
- What support do I already have, and where might I need help?
- How would parenting affect my finances or daily routine?
- Will the baby’s father be involved?
- What concerns feel most pressing?
- What excites me most about this option?
These questions help you think through your feelings and resources to imagine what parenting could look like for you.
